Dr. D. Zizwe Poe, respected Pan-African and Afrocentric scholar will lead the tour on one of the most memorable encounters, allowing you to see and experience connections between the African nature of the Nile Valley civilizations, its impact on other parts of Africa, spiritual texts, and our lives today. Dr. Zizwe is a History professor specializing in African History at Lincoln University. Dr. Poe has developed and taught courses on the Nile Valley Civilization and Mdw Ntr (the language the Greeks inadequately referred to as hieroglyphics). Come and discover the intriguing stories, the reverent prayers and the drama of our ancestors brought to life as you search for the truth.
Depart JFK International Airport (New York) on an overnight flight.
Arrive in Cairo, on Tuesday, and check in to the Le Meridian Hotel and enjoy an 'Evening Hotep (gift/peace) Meal'
We will visit the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx. Some folks will choose to take a camel ride near the pyramids. We will have our first on-site 'Rek' (to know / learn) Session #1.
Visit sites of the Old Kingdom: Sakkara, Imhotep Museum, and life shrines of Old Kingdom Nobels. We will have an evening Rek Session #2.
Visit the famous Cairo Museum and Rek Session #3.
Depart Cairo and travel to Luxor, the city that housed the Amen priesthood/political party.
An evening visit to Luxor Temple, which was the center of the most important festival, the festival of Opet and was built largely by Amenhotep III and Ramses II.
Visit the largest religious plot on the planet: Karnak Temple. The Temple of Karnak comprises three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples - all constructed over 1300 years.
Visit spectacular tombs of the wealthy Africans of Kemet in the Valley of the Nobles. We will have an early evening Rek Session #4.

We begin our cruise on the Nile from Luxor's West Bank.
We continue our Nile cruise and spend a life changing day reviewing the the temple of the most powerful woman in history: Hatshepsut. That is followed by a visit to the exciting 25th Dynasty excavation and reconstruction work being guided by Anthony Browder. This is the only ancient site exploration in Egypt sponsored by Pan-African resources.
We continue our Nile cruise and visit the sites of Edfu and Kom Ombo. These visits will be followed by Rek Session #5 to process the visits since the last Rek Session.
Continue the cruise to Aswan and take a felluca ride on the Nile. Visit the Nubian Museum and make deals at the Aswan Market, which will be followed by our last Hotep Meal and Rek Session of OTT 2020.
Disembarkation from Nile Cruise ship and take a flight to Cairo.
Leave Cairo International airport for flight back to JFK international airport (New York).
The total cost of Kemet OTT 2020 is $3,995 (if traveling alone, there is a $700 single supplement). Paying your deposit of $500 and filling out the registration form by December 31, 2019 is imperative to hold your spot. All balances must be satisfied by May 15, 2020.
